I created this blog to inspire woman and girls to dress modestly, have confidence, stay true to yourself, and be unique. Modesty can be fun and cool, you just have to be creative. You don't have to have your boobies and tummy flyin' all over the place to be considered stylish and beautiful. It's true that there is a lot of immodesty, but at the same time there's a lot of other modest, stylish options as well.

Erdem Spring 2012 RTW
Erdem is a wonderful young English designer. His signature is florals. Flowers are a symbol of spring and I love that he used blue, even though blue isn't really a spring color. The contrast between the flowers and the blue gave this collection a very dreamy, light quality about it. The girl of this collection is young, but loves to try on older women's clothes; she's trying to be mature. I'm a big fan of Erdem and his dresses, they are always so feminine and elegant. XOXO, Allie
Rachel Roy RTW Fall 2011
I know this is Rachel's collection from last year, but its one of my favorites and so is Rachel. I love this collection because of all the layers! As I have mentioned before, I am all about he layers. This collection also showed Rachel evolving as a design because she stated to do more casual day wear instead of evening wear. XOXO, Allie

Rochas Fall 2012
I really liked how this Rochas collection mixed the jewel tones with neutrals. My favorite look is the one with the glasses. Very geek chic. Like a stylin' librarian (hey that rhymes!) XOXO, Allie

Modesty on the Runway: Christian Dior Fall 2012
The House of Dior is under the direction of designer Bill Gaytten and ever since he replaced John Galliono, I feel the collections represent a more classic Dior. The emphasis on the waist paying homage to the New Look and the classic houndstooth pattern made abstract to give a more modern appeal. Gaytten called this season's collection "soft modernity." I definitely get a ballet/feminine vibe, which you all know I love! Below are detail pics of the shoes. I love that the front of the shoe looks like a ballet slipper, but then transforms into a lovely heel.
