The House of Dior is under the direction of designer Bill Gaytten and ever since he replaced John Galliono, I feel the collections represent a more classic Dior. The emphasis on the waist paying homage to the New Look and the classic houndstooth pattern made abstract to give a more modern appeal. Gaytten called this season's collection "soft modernity." I definitely get a ballet/feminine vibe, which you all know I love! Below are detail pics of the shoes. I love that the front of the shoe looks like a ballet slipper, but then transforms into a lovely heel.
I created this blog to inspire woman and girls to dress modestly, have confidence, stay true to yourself, and be unique. Modesty can be fun and cool, you just have to be creative. You don't have to have your boobies and tummy flyin' all over the place to be considered stylish and beautiful. It's true that there is a lot of immodesty, but at the same time there's a lot of other modest, stylish options as well.

Modesty on the Runway: Christian Dior Fall 2012
